going to be really interesting to see where Lexus will be in this series as they have completely dominated IMSA GTd in the first 2 races at Daytona & Sebring
We pay for internet connection, we pay for ps plus, we pay for the game and we pay for dlc....be ed if Im going to rent a lobby. Ps plus should cover this. After all the only reason we have ps plus is to play online games.
Guys, if we get enough drivers ROOZ will pay for the servers. This is what the Gold membership is for, along with the small profits from the Apparel. JJ has said he will pay for the first month, i might pay for the second and then see where it goes from there.
But how does it work? Say rooz buy the servers does that mean any rooz member can start a private lobby and invite his mates who are not members. Is it restricted to 1 server per room. Sorry just don’t understand it very well.
I got this! the server is running now if you want to use it. go to multiplayer/server list and search Rooz. Password is Rooz. set to 10min Prac, 10min qual & 15 min race at Barcelona. The track, race distance, track conditions are set through the G-Portal website.
ok, sounds good. So can you change the password and make it available only to members in the league somehow ?
Yes. For a league race it's simple. set the track, time, conditions etc on the website, (its a little bit complicated to setup), set the password for the nights race, then let those wanting to race know the password. Similarly to the public lobbies, no one can change the settings within the game. To can set permission but I don't yet know how. Test that on friday
Cheers for giving it ago mate...bit of a pain in the ass tho having to set it up on a pc to race on ps4. Does that mean tomorrow night u keep your laptop next to you or we just run the same race over n over.
I'll have the computer out tomorrow night. For a league race it'll be easy. Just set it up, test it works then have it ready to go for race time.
yes will do. Ill be on from about 5:30 onwards. will do some shorter races on a few different tracks and change the weather slightly each time. Then do a few longer races with pitstops later on.
