Seems to go a lot better with more fuel in it , plus being as smooth as possible helps. Oh and FLAT CHANGE!
Bloody hell tried some other cars last night and now I can't drive the mustang can't get bellow a 44.5
Thanks for doing these over the season Juzzy, much appreciated laugh was had watching each one ! Hope you are keen to do it again next season.
From the little bit I did the other night I think that if you try and keep it in the 9's lap in lap out you will fall off big time. Consistent 10's would be a good goal if you can do em safely. I did a 9.something I think while tired and after a fair few Jim n Cokes so an 8 wouldn't be out of the question, but with the curbs wanting to spit you off everytime you touch em that kind of safety margin isn't great.
PB is a 9.7 so far, it's so hard to be consistent when every corner you are dancing on the edge of what is too much or too little oversteer, but that is what makes the car fun to drive. I can also see the tow making it difficult for a leader to break away.
I agree after a few laps of pushing hard it starts to understeer a lot on entry and slows corner speeds quite a bit, Just keeping it on the track for the whole race and no mistakes should see a good result.
