Found I've had to adjust my FFB settings since the latest patch. This page was helpful for finding a good setup. http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?51439-Help-struggling-with-FFB-on-G29/page25 Had some fun in the Lotus 72D at Monaco. A tricky car but so much fun when you get the hang of it.
Hey everyone, I've just moved from xbox to pc to pursue some sim racing. I'm looking for people to race with on pcars2 or ac on pc?
check the assetto corsa sub-forum as Pcars2 will be run only on ps4 @Anon666 is the man to talk to or @KoAStR
I been on it since it came out and only had problems in public rooms(fixed now ) , the rest off the game is rock solid for me . I agree with you once you figure out the wheel setting the game is great . Career mode with the Ai s are lot better than PCARS 1 Bathurst is a bit disappointing in the V8 for me the GT3 s are fantastic and are as good as iracing .
Hi Guys.. apparently project cars 2 has started a weekly video guide to the game. Since we are trying to get a better understand of the games finer points I thought it might be of interest.... the first video is on assists. https://www.projectcarsgame.com/the-insiders-guide-episode-1.html?lang=en
Racing license explained: And here's the original document from SMS: http://www.projectcarsesports.com/license.html Thanks to @Bounty05 for originally posting this in the shoutbox.
hopeful of a new patch and upgrade to graphics in the near future.... http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/sh...tialiasing-(&p=1405070&viewfull=1#post1405070 This was posted up on the 22nd october....hopefully not far away
Clearly for some people, looks is the only thing that matters. It will be interesting to see just how long that novelty lasts before the cheap track/car rosters and half baked physics engine ring home.
Thanks for the help last night with the force feedback Stu , much appreciated ......... Feels a lot better with limited testing running laps with you last night . I have a question , I did hear you mention that most of you are running no traction control . Is that the case with cars we are running in the league ? Have you got it TC switched of completely in the option menu or have you assigned a button to turn it on or off ? I have seen in the game the option to turn it up or down with values of 0-99 generally its on around 9 for most cars , I don't have this option when we are running laps of a evening with you guys . I know these are relatively NOOB questions ( I'm Relatively new to online leagues) but ones I would love answered as I don't want to be slowing myself down with traction control if it is not needed or required . Thank you for any help , Have a good day guys .
Most people will usually be running with TC completely off, I know I do. The only times I've recalled turning it on were in last seasons Formula B @ Imola for the wet round as it was just so unforgiving with it off. The other times were when we were testing some ridiculous cars when PC2 was released and even with TC on, those cars were barely drivable lol
what suicide said ! I reckon 95% of the guys run with it off.....while probably 95% run with ABS on.....YOu can run any level you want, along with adjusting the brake bias to what you like.....feel free to ask any question mate, all good.
From Ian Bell on the 28th of last month.... "There are over one hundred improvements, fixes, user requests etc in there. Edit, just counted, 129 with more to come." http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?55676-Any-idea-what-next-patch-will-cover/page7
Interested to see the patch notes.. for all we know it could be 3 bug fixes with 120 'improvements' and the rest user requests. I'm such a optimist aren't I? lol
Hmmmm unfortunately I don't trust Mr Ian Bell after the first game , I think with good reason after the way project 2 cars was on release day ..........
yeah, i was shocked (don't know why) that they had not tested on console before release...i found that breathtaking !
The console release was tested, just not specifically by WMD. It was outsourced, they clarified that.
