It's race day!
Please remember to have your pit strategy set BEFORE you enter the race lobby because you will not be able to alter it when you're entering the pits like in a tuning lobby.
@Bounty05 will be hosting this week so he'll set up a practice lobby at roughly 7pm AEST with tuning turned on, this way you'll be able to set your pit strategy before entering the actual race lobby. Alternatively you can enter a Quick Race Weekend from the Pcars main menu and set your pit strategy there. Either way, make sure you save your strategy and make sure it is the only strategy you have in your list.
You'll have a couple of options in terms of tyre strategy:
Soft Tyres x 2
If you think you can make your soft tyres last you will need to do one stint of 12 laps and one stint of 13 laps.
Soft Tyres x 1 and Hard Tyres x 1
If you don't think you can make your soft tyres last through two stints you'll need to do a shorter first stint on soft tyres and a longer second stint on hard tyres. You can either put hards on all tyres or hards on the fronts and softs on the rears.
You should have a fuel burn of about 1.75 litres per lap so adding a little for safety let's say 1.8 litres per lap. You need to work out which lap you plan to pit on before you set your pit strategy so you can adjust the fuel slider accordingly. For example, if you're going to pit on lap 10 you'll need 27 litres (15 remaining laps multiplied by 1.8 litres fuel burn per lap) of fuel to get through to the end of the race. So set your fuel slider to at least 28 litres, or 30 litres to be safe.
Let's all have a fun and clean race!
