Just thinking out loud at the moment... What do you think about a quickfire between seasons series... Practice: None Qualifying: One-Shot Race Distance: 5 Laps (or 25%) Car Performance: Equal Formation Lap: Off Safety Car: Off (or on for 25% distance) Collisions: On Vehicle Damage: Off Weather: Dynamic AI Difficult: Master Parc Ferme Rules: On Corner Cutting: (what we use now) Assists: All Allowed At 25% we could do 4 tracks in a night (and 5 on the final night) which would be 5 weeks... At 5 Laps we could do 7 tracks a night for 3 weeks (I have bolded the changes from regular season) Thoughts?
No sorry @Hatfield not a fan of this at all. The reason i got into this was because of the endurance type racing this series provides. I would agree to turn the damage model down or possibly off to provide the close racing we are all looking for however i enjoy the series as it is at the moment
me too which is why I listed 5 lap races to run within 3 weeks yes I understand, this would only be a between seasons series, like a community event, not a league season.
A sprint mode championship would be fun to do in between seasons. Get everyone together for 1 night and just do an entire season of sprint races 3 or 5 laps.
@Hatfield I already have an in between season(s) ready to go before F1 2017, as there isn't enough time in the year to run another 21 race season without a) people getting burnt out and b) F1 2017 being released.
October like normal I assume unless they say otherwise and releas it mid year like they did for F1 15
I imagine it won't be an August game this time around though. Drastically different Handling Characteristics and Car Models will take some time to make, not to mention the usual tidy-up from the previous title.
Or just give them the same physics with a bit more grip, new bodies and send them on their way... it is codemasters after all. They still have the spectator country flags that they used in V8 Supercars 3 from Ps2
