Is it self powered mate as I have a 4 port USB adapter that I got from jaycar and it randomly drops the keyboard or the headset or both so ive been looking for a powered one
Self powered yeah. I havent had any issues with it but have heard it can drop out. Im gonna get a powered one if i have issues but so far so good.
Silly question but I obviously don't know. Do the standard button boxes have no light behind them And Do the advanced ones have backlit LED and how bright are they and what colour?
They arent 'backlit" but rather have LEDs in the pushbuttons of the advanced models. when you look at the image below it shows the actual buttons that have the LED in them, the type changes depending on what model of advanced you get..... The NB1 prob shows it best (basic), when you click on it on the website and it magnifies, you can see there is no red dot in the middle of the button, but on the NA1LED, scroll over the pic and you can see that the buttons have a red dot in them which i assume is the LED.....they also have a slightly cheaper option ($15 U.S) for the buttons above.
Thanks @REM and @stucar17 I just ordered a NB1 and everything worked great through the website. I'm looking forward to getting it hooked up to the rig.
no worries mate....i ordered mine last night as well.....early xmas pressy. I did spend more than i should have ! @REM, thanks again for your support with this....
Hi guys! All latest orders are sent -you should get your hands on the new hardware soon. Please remember our statement about encoders in NB1 models - this is an exp./add-on. I can't find link ATM, but we had 60+ pages thread on PS4 pCars forums, where we checked and even reported different encoder types behavior. Same with wireless, as I remember main issue was disconnections or rest mode, anyway several wireless keyboards tested and reviewed. IMO the best solution is powered USB hub that solves all problems once and for all, yes cable but not baterries required and you're wired anyway (not all models work tho, so follow recommended ones). For full enc. support check Advanced types, or our PC boxes. Encodes make big difference, but need different PCB's, so there's significant price difference between models. Our top NA1LED model comes with black buttons with those tiny red LED's -these are high quality buttons by KNITTER. Look similar to standard black (no LED), but make no mistake -this is another level in terms of quality. The optional back-lit pushbuttons are actually deep RED color (couldn't take a correct photo unfortunately), have also tactile clicking feels, are high quality too -not $0.50 junk from ebay. And yes, all prices are in US Dollars -indeed this may be a bit misleading for you... but I hope our PROMO Codes even things out We are working hard on new models constantly, we'll have some quite original button plates too, and maybe something for the OSW Anyway thanks for all the support! Rem
not yet....have been watching the tracking order though......i only ordered mine last monday and apparently mine is on route.
oh so true. Bought shoes from usa. 5 days to hit melbourne, 7 to reach adelaide hahahaha Gotta love it
