Thought enduro woulda been this week, hopefully daylight savings time that finishes of 3/04 works to my favour otherwize might be too late for me that night
Well that was a very rewarding race! Qualified 4th which I was happy with as I had not done very much practice and had not yet completed a timed lap without spinning so did not know what my pace was relative to others. Got a ripper start to move past @holdenman05 into T1 and watched a couple corners later as @B-Spec Bob went straight into the sand (wheel issue). By the long straights I was past @BMWF30328 and he made a mistake trying to stay with me without hitting me. So now I had a decent gap and others kept making little errors so the gap blew out to about 6 secs... until bob made his way through the field back to 2nd. He caught me midway between pitstops and once past never looked back. Holden & Bimmer were catching late on but weren't able to get there. Another 2nd which was a win for me! No major mistakes in 1hr 30mins!
Good win again last night Bob, made sure I was well out of your way when you came round for the inevitable lapping. I was in a race for a lap or two and then driving around basically by myself.... bout the same as every other night this season. Thanks for not laughing too much at my miserable efforts guys, you are all far better drivers than I will ever be.
havent seen the replay to remember with quality what happened, survived the 1st lap, binned it a few times, binned it on last lap to let bmw through to come home 4th, not happy with myself, but i will come back stronger lol. considering running for season 9 but don't want to let yas down if i cant make a coupla races. had a ball of fun this season. @incey we were all slower once mate if ya didnt give up and thats half of racing, and its a hard room to get a podium in this room thats for sure. also ya cant get faster if there no one faster to learn from.. im gona miss the pugeot, but just this one because the rest are rubbish lol. congrats to Bob for the dominating season
Yeah good on you @incey for not giving up, and like Holdenman says you can't if you don't learn from the best... I know how it feels, I used to get dominated in division 1, finishing close to last and getting lapped. But through perseverance and effort, you get better and move up through the ranks. This season I scored a win and 5 podiums, something I couldn't even imagine 12 months ago.
God dammit Hat, Y u do this? And well, i did beat Jono in all of my 3 seasons of GT6 Div1 To be fair though he looks to have improved heaps since then, if a Formula C or Radical is tempting enough for him, i look forward to fighting against him
